Cosmetics For a Cause

On September 8th, 2018 from 3-6pm Stitched and Dawes Custom Cosmetics invites you to an afternoon of shopping, cuisine, cocktails, music and custom cosmetics. 50% of all sales during the event will go to New Vista; a non-profit organization, empowering youth and adults with intellectual disabilites. This is our 1st 'Cosmetics For a Cause' Event and we are excited to be partnered with Stitched and New Vista and to be able to give back to our community.

Location: Unstitched Warehouse, 4310 Cameron St, Suite #4, Las Vegas, NV    Time: 3-6pm

Dawes Custom Cosmetics Color Bar will be there to create custom lipsticks and lipglosses, as well as having our ready-to-wear collection available for purchase and a limited edition' Savile Red' lipstick with cinnamon and lip plumper; perfect for Fall/Winter 2018. Of course we had to call it Savile Red as a nod to Savile Row in Mayfair, London, famous for it's traditional bespoke tailored mens suits as well as to our Founder, Eve Dawes' English heritage.

Eve Dawes has served as a volunteer on New Vista's Gala committee for nearly a year and is passionate about assisting them in any capacity she can. If you're unable to support this event, their 2nd annual gala 'Moulin Rouge' is on April 27th 2019. New Vista is a non-profit organization in Southern Nevada that supports and empowers youth and adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. They provide Supported Living Homes and a wide variety of programs to promote independence, confidence and self-advocacy, giving their members opportunities to experience life to the fullest!

Intellectual and Developmental Difficulties (IDD) includes:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder
• Down Syndrome
• Prader-Willi Syndrome
• Williams Syndrome
• Individuals with an I.Q. score of 70 or below

New Vista assists individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD) in Southern Nevada by providing the following services:

• In Home SLA (Supported Living Arrangement)
• SLA (Supported Living Arrangement)
• TSLA (Transitional Supported Living Arrangement)
• New Vista Ranch
• ISLA (Intensive Supported Living Arrangements)
• Children’s/Youth ISLA (Intensive Supported Living Arrangements)

As well as, an array of empowering programs to promote independence, confidence and self-advocacy.
